MAL. YAKMUT AL-HASSAN
Yakmut Al-Hassan Saleh is a seasoned professional with over 32 years of experience in administration, management, and corporate policy strategy development. As CEO of Tourism Recreation and Sport Intl Ltd and Chairman of Instinct Resource Services Ltd and Farm Mix Nigeria Ltd. He also founded the Citizens Health and Fitness Foundation, promoting health and fitness initiatives across Nigeria.
In his extensive public sector career, He served as Secretary to the Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Service Board, where he managed officer appointments, promotions, and policy formulation across Nigeria’s paramilitary services. He also served as the DG of the National Sports Commission and the DG of the defunct Nigeria Customs Service (NSC) 2015-2016.
He has a rich educational foundation with advanced degrees and certifications to his name. He completed his PhD in Law and Diplomacy with a focus on Economic Diplomacy from the University of Jos and holds an MBA from the Business School Netherlands. His expertise in sports administration is reflected in a Master’s in the Administration of Physical Education and Sports from Obafemi Awolowo University, an Advanced Diploma in Sports Administration from the International Olympic Committee, and a certificate in Sports Event Management from Academie International des science et Techniques du sport, Lausanne, Switzerland.
Additionally, he holds a Master’s in Law and Diplomacy from the University of Jos, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Public Relations from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education from Ahmadu Bello University, where he also earned a diploma in the same field. He is also a recipient of the National Productivity Order of Merit Award (NPOM) in 2019.
Yakmut Al-Hassan Saleh’s contributions have been instrumental in strengthening governance, improving sports administration, and advancing socio-economic development within Nigeria. He is currently the Chairman at Instinct Resource Services Limited.
